Director - Private Credit & Real Estate
Rory is responsible for identifying, evaluating and executing investment opportunities across Europe, with a particular focus on private credit, real estate and special situations. He also works closely with Somerston’s portfolio businesses to support strategic growth and long-term value creation.
Rory rejoined Somerston Capital in 2026 after five and a half years as CEO of Sancus Lending Group, where he led the successful turnaround of the AIM-listed specialist lending business. Prior to this, he founded and led Newbridge, a Somerston-backed real estate investment platform focused on Poland and has held senior leadership and investment roles across the UK and Central Europe.
Rory holds an MBA from Cranfield School of Management, a BSc (Hons) in Land Management from the University of Reading, and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
